I've not read the article, but from the two-ings and fro-ings between Loading and Shad, what I think the article is saying is that there are unlimited mutations possible, but limited BAD mutations. Some mutations may make it die out all together? Or should I read it? Though to be fair it is entertainment guessing and watching the replies
Looks like vaccine passports are going to be a thing for domestic duties, then. Disgusting idea, like something out of North Korea. Good luck with the new restricted normal, showing your papers left, right and centre. I'll just shelter in my bedroom forever more. Peace
Quite disturbed by these cops breaking up a Good Friday church service in South London. To begin with, what sort of person rings the police because people are queuing up outside a church? And don’t the police have better things to do? Don’t like this at all tbh... https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news...rch-service-over-apparent-covid-rule-breaches
I dunno, I think there are a fair few on here that like to constantly ****ing complain about absolutely everything, I'd imagine they'd be perfectly capable. As for the police, yeah I agree, but see point above, that would give same few something else to moan about if the police didnt, er, police it. Look at the Politics thread last night, someone getting told where to obtain their information from so they had the same view as another poster(s). ****ing censorship is everywhere Anyway, morning to all the old miserable ****s in the UK (not you Archers btw). The sun is currently out in the sky. Did the government paint the sky with a yellow disc to try and lie to us about the weather? Logging off, im sure many will be happy with that Cant ****ing stand this place atm
You too Archers. i just got a **** load of ****ty news this weekend, and it made me realise what is important. Now off to do the kids Easter egg hunt before they get to the clues.
Your family, yours and their health, goodwill to all people. Feck all else really matters mate. Have a good one
Vaccine passports for foreign travel are inevitable....will be insisted upon by other countries anyway. And some holiday companies are insisting on some form of proof already....I fully understand that if groups of probably elderly or older people are in close proximity on coaches, river cruises etc. However, I'm not in favour for more every day life....restaurants and pubs....not because these are no-risk places (because they aren't) but because not every one has been offered a jab yet and we need to get back to some normality. What is the answer....I don't know....but I can see people losing the will to even go out if it becomes too much bother.
I've already made a decision not to give my business to any business that enforces vaccine passports. Where are the freedoms to make your own decision? Gone forever if you want any kind of quality of life.
I think it'll be providing evidence of a recent negative test at the absolute most tbh for domestic reasons tbh.
As I said I understand for holidays where people are in close proximity and travelling to another country. You have freedom of choice....you can decide not to have a vaccine and not travel abroad. Can't be fairer than that.
It's also hardly a new concept for international travel. People traveling to the UK -- and most countries -- from regions where highly-contagious diseases are endemic have long been required to show proof of vaccination.
I have no problem showing a vaccine passport for international travel, I can also see a need to show for mass gatherings, football, rugby, concerts etc.
I agree. I think pubs ( that they aren’t doing now) is a bit too far. However, I think every member of the party in a pub should have to register they were there for track and trace. I can see the civil liberties army will be up in arms, but I really cannot see the issue.
