Much as I like Big Sam, he mentioned that he's 66, and doesn't want to catch Covid. Not a smart move to take up the post in the middle of a pandemic if that's the case. Obviously a ploy of buying time by Big Sam the man.
If it's a ploy I'd have to say that's really poor behaviour ... ... trying to gain an advantage by hoying in the pensioner card when loads his age have died. I'd lose a lot of respect if that was the case tbh.
i know they are down to 10 men but what a manager Sam is he has them playing with belief ,big ask but hope he can pull survival off
Yeah but last time Mike Ashley was picking the mag team not Steve Bruce. Or that’s the way I got it as he’s the only one who copped the flak from their fans
They've got some tough games left - but I wouldn't bet against big Sam doing the job. They look more capable of catching the Mags than Fulham.
Dream team: Sam Allardyce, Karl Robinson and Robbie Keane - Sammy Lee is on jury service and not available. 4 games left: Man City (A) Mags (H) West Ham (A) Spurs (H) He needs a big turnaround in form to beat the drop.
If he does that's another £3m in the bank. Obscene really. Or £0.5m for failure. Nice work if you can get it. As for the appointment of Karl Robinson - that just makes me want them to go down.
Big Sam. Top Bloke. Keane and Cloughy too. Yes coaching has changed......however, they all profess the same thing - the game is simple, and too many players over-think, rather than playing to their strengths. A good kick up the arse, or a cuddle, said Cloughy. I love honesty me..
