they didn't didn't want European football and didn't give a **** about the prem so it seems fair enough to me...complete set of spineless greedy ****s who only backed down cos their fans went bat **** crazy over it. Spurs have apparently had 10s of thousands of emails from members and season ticket holders threatening to not renew...guess the automated response I got telling me they'd reply within 2 days might have been optimistic
Exactly this. If anything, the SL proposal shows the financial strength of these 12 teams at pulling in commercial revenue. The governing bodies should be sitting down with them and coming up with new proposals to get that money into football ethically and not the way it was proposed by the SL.
We've got to get your owners out.. Fans need to keep pressing fwd. The German guy they let go after he begs fur his life in saving private Ryan springs to mind... They let him go and later on he comes back and kills the guy that let him go slowly with a Machete
Mate I don't want it.. I mean look at the stand the fans made elsewhere . It'll be expected we protest to keep them out and when we don't we will get hammered in the press..
Only the butthurts will want it stopped on political grounds. If they’re fair owners they’re welcome as far as I’m concerned.
Munse angry yet wants a murderer in charge of his club just so that his team can compete with the top 6
I don't want to see any punishment that affects the players and fans. It's not their fault, they have done **** all wrong, so they shouldn't bear any punishment. It's the owners who need hauling over the coals here. I don't know how you could administer it, but the owners personally should be fined for this, but that won't happen. As @Geordieginola says, the next best thing is to introduce legislation to ensure that this doesn't happen again I'd also like to see the rules changed on ownership, so that a mandatory % of club shares are owned by fans, and that they have a rep on the board.
I'm just concerned with how it'll look on our behalf after the heartwarming stance from fans at all clubs the past few days. I know it's just the ownership, but should we really want to join in with what's killing the sport? Honestly it's the 1st time I've started to think I'd rather just stay the way we are.
All teams involved should be removed from this years European competitions and the 12 plus the 3 that haven't declared yet given a year's ban from all European competitions and in Arsenal's and Spur's case the ban will come into effect when they actually qualify for Europe.
We're in Europe you donk. Anyway, I don't think the players and fans should be punished for this. It's the owners who need to be sanctioned.
