Update - Gallbladder gone! Many thanks for all the kind words and encouragement. Your good people. A few complications but should be home in a couple of days. it’s Greg to see our team finish off the year with some positive wins. In too many years gone by, we’ve had o scrape & scrap to the last game or two and feel dejected about the year that was. This time, probably fair to say we’ve finished higher than expected and there’s a good feel about seasons end.
****ing hell Aussie, you are a one man medical demonstration site for junior doctors! Hope the recovery goes well. As Beth says, and from what I understand, you don’t need a gall bladder, and will be better off without it.
I’m with you on all counts Beth. It’s been frustrating, too often, to see us have poor run-ins to the end of seasons. A strong run-in will have everyone seeing the opportunities for next season as well as a team that surely can only get better knowing each other’s game. Anyone considering playing for us will see a team on the up and worth playing for and to develop in. Trying to keep the loanees will be a challenge for the management but very good for the team without doubt. Then its look at where we need to strengthen a weak position and we could be in a good place. This is one season where we shouldn’t need to rebuild and rip apart another team. All the hard work of the last few seasons is hopefully coming home to roost for the club, fans and management. The mantra has to be to keep a steady ship, keep improving and enjoy playing good football (oh and more points).
Brilliant to hear it is done and you are recovering...hope the R'ss win didn't make you cheer too much, as that would have probably hurt! Rest up.
Well done Diddly. You will feel tons better but may find that you need to change your moniker to Diddly Squits. I was one of many who became fat intolerant - not surprising when you think about it as the bile continues to swirl round your system seeking out every last sliver of fat to feast on. My doctors told me that I could eat anything at all and that is certainly true. But not a word about the lethal gases you will generate after every fatty meal or the frequent diarrhoea. Consider a bathroom makeover because you will be spending more time in there.
Again, many thanks to all & sundry for the kind words. Yokeshire, l’m already Dux of the class on your latter comments and l have actually remodelled the bathroom last year during co-vid but thanks the advice.
Sb, as it turned out, two of the junior doctors ( still study) returned to ask me if l would mind a series of questions of my past illnesses. About an hour & a half later, they told me they had best be going!
Nothing could make him smell worse We get hit by a terrible easterly whiff about 3 hours after he has a curry
