Leicester City and the supporters fell so lucky when they came along. I think they were looking to buy Tottenham (certainly a London based club) before getting knocked back so looked around for another club.
I hope so (if it means we have similar respect and appreciation for our future owners). How good would that be.
All a bit creepy and servile at Leicester, like it's a personality cult for the benefit of the folks back in Thailand. It's about the shirt and the city. End of.
Given that there isn't a minted local owner for them, their owners have been brilliant for them. Simple as that. And I continue to be pleased for them (And even a tad jealous - if only eh ).
Every now and again a club will get good owners. The fact is that the sooner we get shot of property developers as football club owners the better. If you want to invest in football do it for the love of the game and not a property asset.
I look back to 2014/15 season( I think) when Leicester made a miraculously recovery after been bottom of EPL for most of the season. They stayed up at our expense, and then went on to win the league and sustain themselves in Premier League. With the squad we had, that was probably our best chance to sustain ourselves at that level. It was also when Ehab decided not to sell to new owners. Until recently, It has been downhill since then. A lot of 'what ifs' in there
