I've just posted the offside law on the Prem Board, if anyone is interested. Amazing how many on there (and the Spud board, bizarrely) are just so super ignorant of the rules. Regardless of whether you believe Ally would have got it, he couldn't see the original header, and that is all the law states. As for the wrongly given free kick on the halfway line - seriously? Sam thinks that's equivalent to a pen? Reminds me of another thug manager, Dyche (is he Sam without Allah? I digress) complaining after the game that we'd been given a goal kick when he thought Burnley should have had a corner. Five/six passes from our goal kick, Ford put sterling through to score, Honestly, the melon head was berzerk that Liverpool had been given a through road to goal.
What an ending to the game! We seem to be involved in some of the biggest clutch moments! So happy for Allison after all he's been through. I just hope we do get top 4 so that this moment has even more meaning. Make no mistake about it, we deserved the win. WBA gave us a good game but we deserved all 3 points. Thiago clearly MOTM today but he along with Fabinho, Mo, Allison and Trent have quietly gone about their business over the past 7-8 games and have been instrumental in keeping is in the race. They have stepped up and given us a platform to build on.
What a fantastic goal and what a fantastic bloke. Very moving post-match interview. I honestly thought it had gone, but just before he took the corner, the unit said "You'll score here" I laughed long and hard
Trent Alexander-Arnold has created 5+ chances in Liverpool's last three Premier League games. He's the first player to do that in three straight league appearances for #LFC since Steven Gerrard in Oct 2010. Trent's 5th created today was the assist for Alisson's winner
Didn't watch the game, caught the highlights. That's the goal of the season, right there. That's the post match interview of all time, right there. If you need reasons to love this Football Club even more, stick around.
Anyone mentioned the ****housery from WBA at kickoff? They took it quickly whilst our players were still taking a knee. Within the rules but morally ****.
Big Sam will never stop moaning for the right or wrong reason. He has a job to bring West Brom next season if he is there.
Just watching MOTD2, the ball is played in the floor but the contract (on the referee from Fabinho) is around the midsection. No way he thinks it was the ball.
Yeah you are right. I saw that last night. The ball goes in front of him so irrespective the west Brom player only needed to run the ball away from goal.out wide and it's no goal. Fat sham was smiling and joking on the bench before half time so had no issue with the thing until someone told him to make excuses about it. If he were so raging he should have approached ref at half time.
Hahaha loved beating that fat gravy drinking tw@. Moaning as per usual. Their disallowed goal was correctly ruled out and if it wasn't, it would set a dangerous precedent where strikers can just stand in front of the keeper at set pieces. Our FK which led to the goal - maybe it was a bit harsh but the alternative was that there would be an uncontested drop ball in our favour. Even then, WBA actually won the ball back twice from our FK. Either way, we deserved the win.
He just likes a moan. No reading during the game because it doesn't matter, they're already relegated.
