Try printing something out for him to read on a sheet of yellow paper and the same text on white paper and see if you notice a difference Had a guy at work with me who couldn't read his service manuals (white paper) yet could read the technical bulletins which were printed on yellow.
Well the directors response was that it wasn't a no, but it was awkward. So as far as I'm concerned its a go no go for launch
Hopefully things will change. At least the seed is planted. He may have a rethink. And at least you tried.
I also live in the south west in Exeter and mentioned moving, some ****tard with a cockney accent said what? move to Sunderland from Exeter? I said yes, everything is cheaper,, fantastic beaches, amazing countryside, the people are much friendlier and the weather isnt that good down here. He didnt know what to say
My brother in law lives in exmouth. Tbh I’d rather live up here. Beaches are better for a start. Although exmouth has a cracking Mexican restaurant.
Found a lovely house in Wheatley Hill, hopefully it will be around to view when we come up. Also saw a nice one in Sacriston, but really don't know that area at all
Was born and bead in sacriston Been gone 3o years However there is some great people living there However my choice would be Chester Le street
ive been looking around there as well chunk try google maps and a walk along the streets nipping clean no rubbish lovely well kept houses and gardens even on the council estates, its on one of 4 areas for me
I once got their chilli and asked for it hot! Dear me nearly took my cap off! Havent been back for a few years now though.
Chunk, not far from where I am. I'm sure @Somebodys pinched my sombrero can give you some decent advice on that area. I've only been living back up north for the last 3 years and Wish I made the move earlier. Shotton Hall academy remains an excellent secondary school. Good luck with your search mate
It is mate, I went there! I’m sure Chunk has also mentioned Wellfield, which also has a decent reputation.
Wheatley Hill is in exactly the same mould as Trimdon, former pit village, close knit community. Not much there though, you’d have to go to the big city of Peterlee to do your shopping. Either there or Durham which is probably about eight miles away.
One of the best state schools in Durham,... Is Durham Johnson the problem being the house prices in its catchment area often carry a hefty premium... It will be up to my son where his two kids go to high school...the local primary is good, the local high school us crap...
Amazing part of Durham for walks and scenery. It's a rough place though and it's had more than it's fair share of trouble over the last few years. The surrounding villages are lovely and I would highly recommend them. Plawsworth, Nettlesworth, Kimblesworth, Witton Gilbert, Waldridge, Chester-Le-Street.
