The noise those tapes made RIP Sir Clive a true English eccentric, full of inventions - not all of them great!
Not really old enough to see him play, but grew up on the Saint and Greaves show on a Saturday - great banter between the two of them. RIP Jimmy

Sad news, great player & saw him play at HQ, remember the handball? loved the Saint & greavesie show, RIP Jimmy
RIP Jimmy Who remembers when Saint & Greavsie went to New York and got Trump to do the draw for the Rumbelows cup? It's a funny old game.
This 100%. He is a legend of football for me. He did the business of a striker and it was hard to dislike the man whatever team you supported. One of the few non-QPR players whose poster was on my wall as a kid. Later in life he was a real lovable rogue on Saint & Greavsie. Football has truly lost ones of its own. An icon for every striker no matter what era. RIP Jimmy
Some nice jazz and Jimmy scoring more goals in 3 minutes than several highly paid strikers have managed in their careers.
Probably the greatest finisher I've seen. Here's Jimmy scoring three of England;s nine against Scotland in 1961, complete with Harry Enfield-style voiceover. I was at that game as a six-year old. RIP Jimmy.
