Typical - was torn between Brentford and Wolves for the Fanatasy League and plumped for Wolves, based on the way they outplayed us...
Brentford taken their chances whereas we didn’t do when on top. Then we seemed to sit back and let them play and scoring for them! I mean this could be 4 out of 5 games Wolves haven’t scored ..
That is sad news - he was a goal poacher extraordinaire. 81? Alcohol and ciggies can't be all that bad for you then...
I saw him play for Chelsea in the late 1950's one Boxing Day against Man.Utd. He was fast for his day, although possibly not by modern standards. His reactions were so quick and he had an extraordinary sense of anticipation. Certainly a legend when the word is over used.
I have been watching the Goodwood revival 2021 live stream. Some amazing racing in very difficult conditions in almost priceless cars. The car control of these drivers is to be applauded.
Won't be surprised to hear Stuart Atwell had a poor game at Brighton. Man U got given a penalty against them in the last minute - but Moyes did a Southgate and brought a sub on to take it who missed. Still probably saves said ref from an ear bashing.
Chelsea are making the Spuds look like a bunch of novices at the moment - I really hope they lose some form before the end of November.
I saw him when he was at West Ham. Still in a class of his own even with Stoke's technique of soaking the pitch to slow the opposition down.
Apparently Lionel Messi needs to get his ego sorted out ! His royal highness doesn't appear to understand that he can be substituted against his will just like any other player.
Safe standing approved. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58648153 Wonder where this will be at the Vic?
Assuming we manage to avoid relegation this season, I'm going to hate FIFA even more than usual. It seems there will be a six week winter break for Premier League clubs next season to accommodate the World Cup in Qatar, from november to just before Xmas. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/19598314.premier-league-break-next-winter-qatar-world-cup/
