He was beaten on Thursday when a reporter asked him if he could out box Usyk, hesitant, nervous smile followed by a "yeah, yeah of course".
Absolutely agree. Doesn't get sucked in to the trash talk, always seems full of respect for his opponents before and after the fights. Think the fact he left the ring after taking a pasting, and let Usyk have his moment was a good gesture, but some are desperate to jump on it as him being a dick. I don't get it
I said the same last night. He has slow hands and feet, which is no good when you come up against the boxing skill that Usyk possesses. Tyson Fury will flatten AJ if the fight ever takes place. AJ will be foolish to take on Usyk for a second time.
Blindfolded and with one hand tied behind his back. Joshua has always been overhyped. He needs to learn to how to use his height and work his jab properly against these smaller opponents. It was way too easy for Usyk to get up close and into him. I was gutted with that result last night, we'll more than likely never get the chance to watch Fury dismantle AJ, now. I was robbed with a few quid last night. I had Hatton to draw or get beat. He was outboxed from start to finish and somehow took the W. I can't remember such a ridiculous decision by the judges. As somebody said last night, Hatton Garden robbery no longer biggest Hatton robbery in London.
I never saw the fight mate I only listened to it. But my mate saw the Hatton fight and he said it was embarrassing and corrupt that Hatton won.
Agreed. I like the guy as a person, but never thought he was a great boxer. His best fight for me was the second Ruiz fight. As he actually looked like he’d worked on what he needed to do and knew how to box him. Frank Warren and Hearn will be delighted. No longer have to make up **** to stop two lads who want to fight each other from fighting when it’s all about the almighty dollar! Would still love to see that fight mind.
