At home on boxing day is always a plus. Sunderland away on Good Friday should be a good day out. Bit annoying from a personal point of view that one of our only two London games is mid week as I like to make a weekend of it usually. As mentioned, it's a rough start and end on the face of it, but then this is the Championship and you never really have much certainty on who's going to be any good in the summer.
hdf: "The long wait is over for Hull City and their supporters, with the Championship fixture list revealed in full at 9am, along with the first batch of televised games." 47 days of unremitting torture. not.
Nah, top of the league by the time the Blunts come to ours. I'll keep taking the medication as long as you do.
I don't get it? Was this a strapline the Allam lad left on the whiteboard in the office and someone decided it was easier to use that instead of creating something good? Trust me, I am not part of the same family of the three people who sit in front of me, no way, but I would be happy if the woman behind was my step mum.
Sat 3rd September - Hull FC v Hull KR 3pm kick off. Corporate Sold Out already Sat 3rd September - Hull City v Sheffield United 3pm kick off Hmmm....
City could be the Friday night Sky game. Even if not, it's surprising they didn't spot that. City will have to be rearranged is my view, as KR's is already scheduled in.
Hull FC and Hull KR could perhaps just focus on playing the highlights and they could get it out of the way during half time?
City first, give it an hour after ft, switch posts, add some markings then bring on the support act. Blunts fans can give their scarves to the rovers mob on the way out. Sorted.
Play first half of City game, then have a free bar for the City fans while the egg chasers waddle around and their fans spread themselves round the stadium to make it look like its full, then play the second half of City game when they've gone. Sorted
In 2007 or thereabouts, didn't City play Ipswich at 12.30, then Fc played Wigan at 5.30 on the same day. Therefore its been done before. It worked well. City won 3-1. FC lost.
That will go to either Friday or Sunday and be on sky as the cameras will already be there for the rugby
Bradford away in the Carabao cup. The tie at Valley Parade will be played week commencing 8th August.
