Time to pick the team on form not reputation. Drop Barton, if he gets all sulky and Tweets about being f*cked over for Diakite or Adel then let him boo-hoo and pretend he is a martyr for the causes of free speech. As for SWP I'd stop putting him in the starting line up and only bring him on if we need options with 20 minutes to go, he has been a massive disappointment so far. When did he last change a game? Win ugly if needs be, I love our way of playing but would sacrifice this for the rest of the season if we could grind out a handful of 1-0 wins. You don't get points for pretty football, we can always work on that next season providing we stay up. We need a captain, one who isn't afraid to shout at the rest of the team when it is needed and not just be snidey when things are going wrong. Based on what I have seen I'd say give the arm band to Anton Ferdinand.
Who do you play in his place. If we had two better midfielders then I'd agree but we don't. It doesn't help when he has to do half of Derry's work too.

Blackburn v QPR Sat 11 Feb (3pts), QPR v Fulham Sat 25 Feb (3pts), QPR v Everton Sat 3 Mar (3pts), Bolton v QPR Sat 10 Mar (1pt), QPR v Liverpool Sat 17 Mar (0pts), Sunderland v QPR Sat 24 Mar (1pt), QPR v Arsenal Sat 31 Mar (0pts), Man Utd v QPR Sat 7 Apr (0pts), QPR v Swansea Mon 9 Apr (3pts), West Brom v QPR Sat 14 Apr (1pt), QPR v Tottenham Sat 21 Apr (0pts), Chelsea v QPR Sat 28 Apr (0pts), QPR v Stoke Sat 5 May (3pts), Man City v QPR Sun 13 May (0pts). These would be my realistic targets for the rest of the season which makes a total of 18pts from our run in taking us to a total of 39pts overall which should be enough for survival. If we get anything out of the games with the top 5 or 6 at home it would be a bonus.
Hi Guys - I'm a Fulham supporter <shock> - as it happens, I think you'll stay up. Some of the predictions here are a bit over optimistic, but I think 36-38 will be enough and that you will make that total.
Hi guys How have your new signings settled in ? Do they look like impact players ? How has the team improved under MH ? Or has there not been much change from Warnocks team ? My opinion is you'll just about scrape in, but you might sweat a bit near the finish.
I am mainly concerned that MH didn't get a quality holding CM player in during January. With the injury to Ale, and Barton a ticking handgrenade off the pitch it was the No 1 priority. We have Barton who I think is playing ok but is likely to stab MH or anyone else in the back at the drop of a hat, Buz who seems to have many injury problems, Derry on his last legs, and an untried young guy still in Africa. We have been torn to shreds by Chelsea, a good team, but also by mediocre Villa and Wolves, since Buz last played well against Wigan. Its hard to see good solutions unless Diakite turns out to be something really special, which is asking a lot of a young guy who has not played in England before, but it can happen. It seems totally impossible to predict what points we could pick up where. For me on a good day, with our best players available and on song we are capable of beating the very best (remember Chelsea and Citeh at home), on another bad day we could loose 6-0 again to Fulham, or Blackburn this Saturday. I'll keep my fingers crossed for lots of luck, and no more red cards. If Adel starts hitting the net and not the aluminium, we could just survive.
With the new look team I only see 4 games we can't get anything from. All worried way too early, 7 pts from the next 3 and everyone will be saying a totalyy different thing.
