Didn't you say in a previous post you expected 12th at this point of the season? So why are you complaining when you are showing mid-table form? You claim to be surprised by the position of Southampton, yet you are annoyed when you go on a bad run. It will pick up, but spouting a load of ****e all over the board about how the last 2 months hasn't been good enough is just being selective and pathetic. Obviously, you are on a bad run, but if you are still second after this bad run of 10 games or so, does this not mean you are will be eventually on course to start picking up points again and attempting to widen the gap between you and 3rd/7th? Anyway, the sensible ones are unhappy with the defeat, as any fan should, but accept that it is not essential to the campaign
Oh and we are above mine and everyone elses as well I think. I'm not 'mad' at the team per se, I'm fustrated at our dramatic loss of form like others. The team has done a great job and everyone connected to the club deserves praise however its all relative, being top of the league for so long and then suffering like we are now is a hard pill to swallow.
Our form has not been that bad of late, we had good wins against Everton, Liverpool (league) and Swansea (cup), and a surprising draw against Arsenal. We most recently suffered a defeat to Norwich, but we have Wigan at home on Saturday, which will lead on well to Millwall the next week
Losing 30 games a season (28 games in the league, 2 games in the cup) would give us a maximum points of 30, which would surely get us relegated So within half an hour, your expectations have gone from 12th to 8th? Instead of evaluating my points, you decided to make a point that you win more games than Bolton, which considering we are in a higher league and a higher stage in the FA cup than you this season, is funny It is also not relevant Arrogance makes you sound childish, think before you write.
You cannot say "this is very bad for the team" at this moment. Perhaps if we lose the next two games you can say "I think the FA Cup result was very bad for the team" but not now, that's completely illogical. Let's *see* how it effects the team. Perhaps it's bad, perhaps it's the final kick in the butt to get things moving again. But to say definitively "this is very bad for the team" right now is nonsense.
I'm happy with our league position but our form is relegation form. It's not good enough, and has to improve, sooner rather than later, or we can kiss goodbye to promotion.
Adambanana are you 12 years old? Bolton4Europe has made completely valid points which i agree with 100% and you're acting like a complete pr!ck. Sorry bolton, not all saints fans are like him.
Point proven. Are you 12 years old? Personally, I think being knocked out of the FA cup by a team of similar standing provides a wake up call. I saw this with Swansea after we beat them, and also Wigan who have improved slightly. Maybe Southampton can do the same? Who knows.
We picked the same age for him I see All clubs have idiots Hope you come up and we stay up, another team for pundits to say they should stay up because they have a better support than Bolton, Wigan and Blackburn (it's the same three every year) and obviously points are handed out based on attendance
Close. I very much doubt you are 10 years old, more like 20 judging by your name + the previous posts.
