............and I am not sure if it is that seasonal adjustment disorder (SAD) or what has happened in the world of football. It is really bugging me that: A court case can be rearranged for the conveniance of a footballer; We can got knocked out of the FA Cup so easily; England are in a mess again as we approach an international tournament; That a pretty mediocre premier league footballer can earn in a month more than it costs to run a school for a year; We have lost our form and have a manager who seems not to know what to do about it; The next England manager could be an illiterate IT incompetent fool who can't manage his money; The weather - it is too bloody cold; Portsmouth will get away with it again; Liverpool have still not realised that racism is unacceptable; Harry Houdini didn't get that name for nothing. Can someone please give me some reason for being optomistic about football?
there's only 3 months left of the season so pretty soon we will be discussing the 50k waddle at the olympic's
I was about to have a pop at you lot for complaining about the cold down South, but it would seem that we're a good few degrees better off here in Scotland: http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/uk_latest_temp.html Godders, I think its time to get rid of that cursed coat. This bad luck needs to stop.
Up in Yorkshire, we were never allowed to get pessimistic about football, or our Dad would thrash us to sleep with his belt.
You worry too much! Pompey will die, be gone... we'll get 5 points from Pompey going to the wall ahead of the hammered, and will beat Burnley and West Ham, taking us 7 pts clear Sharp will become a superstar and score a hat trick in every game until the end of the season Tadanari will be the next Pele... Dan Harding to captain England to the world cup Paul Wotton to come back and score 10 goals Brian Clough to come back from the dead and lead England to world cup glory... Optimism!
Alternatively, we'll have a new owner, go on a decent run that gets us into 6th spot and then dispose of you in the play offs! That sounds a lot better!
