Chill, it's only a game. If you love football, surely losing's the best option as it gives you more games and a possible trip to Wembley instead of just being all over by the weekend.
We're all the same as Colin Firth's character.
Some of us have booked a week away when the play off final is on, secure in the knowledge we would go up automatically!! FFS when you think of it life and City was always going to kick me in the bollocks like this
I'm very happy for Cardiff & I for one am a big Bellamy fan, I know some don't like him but he's a good guy with a lot of heart and passion. Hope we can join you..
I was nervous on Friday night and even more nervous now though I am trying to be positive. The team had a night out last night which might have relaxed them a bit. I am praying that whatever happens in the Watford game on Friday night on Saturday City play football like we know they can and really go for the win. I keep going through all the maths in my head and even writing it down. I keep asking my husband "what happens if Watford win and we lose" and all the other scenarios. If Watford win on Friday we need to win one more game. If they lose we are up regardless, if they draw we draw we go up .........just driving myself nuts.
I remember driving a Vauxhall Vectra to Dundee in my bare feet and gorging on loads of Toblerone then having a nervous breakdown. I fear this promotion tension is going to make me hit the Toblerone again, I'm struggling to cope.
Its nice to know others are feeling the same, the wife's sick of hearing me and constantly says "there's nothing you can do about it" well i kno that, big help she is. I just hope it all turns out ok so i can start to get some proper sleep i am constantly waking up thinking about the outcomes and what team i would put out for the next match
Oh gimme a frigging break Chazz "Judith Chalmers" Rheinhold! The number of holidays you have, they're always gonna clash with games!
When was the last time we had a midtable season with no dramas and no expectation but midtable obscurity? For one reason or another I don't think we've had one since I've been supporting the club, so we're going back before David Lloyd was involved. Even when we've finished midtable there's been some off pitch drama affecting us.
I have no idea what you mean claps, it's not like I'm going away for two weeks at the end of August..... Oh ffs
And if we think now is bad just wait until 7 pm on Friday when we may be either 3 hours from despair or 3 hours from celebration. Wonder will the players be watching the game on Friday or not, does anyone know
I too am in the 50s, nearly 60 in fact and I over here so God knows how you lot feel. On Friday I am flying to Perth which has 3 hour time difference from Melbourne so I will get to find out the result earlier than if I had been in Melbourne .Logic eh. I am not going to look on any other board from now on I have confidence we will do it our selves but come on Leicester.,
Same age. I could have written that almost verbatim. Also share the thinking about if only we had an Ashbee in the team (and a reliable, fit goalscorer would be nice too!). I'd guess many thousands are in the same situation. As you say, it's stupid. But.
