They didn't run after it!!! They ran in when the shot was played. Not one of the players in an offside position attempted to collect the ball after it was saved as it went off to the side and Powell was in a better position to take possession. Therefor it is NOT offside.
Lets agree to disagree. Its 1. nil Arse. Lets agree with that, plus players had stopped so it would have probably been bblocked the way it bobbled in
How could Meyler not even look up while passing casually across his own packed penalty box with the outside of his foot against Arsenal !!!!!!! Answer; You get intelligent footballers and unintelligent ones and Meyler is profoundly unintelligent.
They're not active though! Jesus Christ what is so hard for people to understand!? If the save from the keeper was collected by them then yes I would agree it was offside, but as none of them attempted to collect the ball after the original save none of them where ever classed as active. I'm Not sure how it can be any clearer
You don't have to touch the ball to be offside, you do realise this yes? If you're offside and move to play the ball as they did then it's technically offside. Harsh call but not incorrect. Anyway time to move on, no use crying over spilt milk.
It really wasn't. It was a one, two yard, pass build up. A poor attempt at a "Zidane" like turn that he ****ed up losing control of the ball. He got two lucky bounces off his own feet, his scuffed shot took a very fortunate deflection which wrong footed McGregor & rolled into the net. It was **** from start to finish.
Have you seen it back? They're about that far way from the ball the entire time for the Meyler shot. If they were about 4 or 5 yards closer, I would agree with you.
Meyler had a mare of a first half. It wasn't just that (bloody ridiculous) error. Take him off. Put Diame in midfield where he should be playing. Sorted.
My point to both you and Madrid tiger was the fact no one made an attempt to move towards the ball. But yes let's move on and agree to disagree
I like Meyler but he's just daft isn't he. He does things that just make you wonder what he was thinking.
The co comentator on BT said what is it with Hull City players flicking it with the outside of their feet
I'm not getting into the whole offside debate - I just want to say that no one should EVER use something Robbie Savage has said to bolster their argument. Trust me, it just achieves the opposite. All he's fit to talk about is how your dog can get a nice shiny coat.
I did enjoy everyone slating him all game for talking **** but are now using him to back themselves up. Arf.
