    Heard a rumour of 2 more #hcafc friendlies today, August 3rd v Dynamo Dresden (A) and 6th v Hamburg SV (A)

    If true looks like we are having a pre season tour in Germany as well as Portugal

    Hamburg is one of the big clubs in Germany, and Europe come to mention.

    I've been looking at going to Oktoberfest lately, and unsurprisingly they double the price of hotels in Munich at that time. It's put me off.

    Maybe this is fate.

    Interesting if true. The problem is that the FL and SPFL clubs will have league matches that day and most of the PL have games on the 3rd. So yes it makes sense to play foreign teams in pre-season/


    We have a home game. Andy Dawsions Testimonial game which should happen on sunday 11th august. But against who ??

    £22.99 one way flights to Bremen which isn't far away... two day stay in Hamburg. If this is true get me on that bloody plane!

    Just need confirmation of the games and I'm there! There's a flight to Stansted at 09:00 the next day, not sure how much I fancy that mind.
    Plus a £32 connection on bus being the cheapest way to get to Hamburg is putting me off a tidbit too.

    Found a cheap-ish package for flights - train travel between dresden and hamburg and hotels. But i am still leaning towards 2 seperate trips.

    Braga away and Hamburg away are 2 great pre-season games to have. With Real Bettis @ home pre-season is much improved.
