You can't just throw out all of the old guard - some experience needs to stay - I would keep Ashley Cole, John Terry, Steven Gerrard, Gareth Barry. Also players like Glen Johnson, Joleyon Lescott, Darren Bent, Jermain Defoe are hardly over the hill - the WC is only 2 years away This needs to be evolution not reviolution - otherwise we simply won't even qualify
Take all youngsters. We need players with energy if we're gonna be competing in the middle of summer in Brazil. Drop the worthless square-headed scouse waste of space completely and take players that will actually perform when they need to. It would also be a massive help if the fans and the media dropped this whole "OMGWTFEVERYTHINGISSOSHITWHYDOWEEVENBOTHER" attitude. This is doing more damage than anything else.
