You don't really believe that do you? Surely it'll add salt to the wounds if they confirm it by teaching you a footballing lesson next week?

It works both ways, what if Utd ruined City's party by beating them. I accept it would merely be a delay in them winning the Prem, but Utd would get some pleasure out of it.

Why, they are 16 points ahead of us with 7 games to go, I think the lesson can't get any worse than that.

Bollocks, maybe in your mind. Will you celebrate if they beat us <laugh>
The dominance has been more than obvious this season.

having to endure city singing championes would wind up anyone. mourinho will freak. there could be milk involved

you can deny it all you want.... having to get showered and changed with your city rivals.party next door having beaten you all year and then ground you to dust in the actual game.

ah maybe you are right. maybe Utd are just gone so much they will take that lying down.....

    For this reason...

A tiny semblance of pride back, I get the point you're making Diego but I don't buy that it makes no difference at all.

You may not care in which game. But in which stadium? ;)

It's not long ago you claimed Man City were your biggest rivals and now your claiming it wouldn't matter if they finally lifted the trophy in front of your fans in your home stadium? Who you actually trying to convince when making these claims? <laugh>

I'll take what you say at face value though as only you know how you really feel about it. One thing is apparent though, majority of Man Utd fans don't feel the same!

It would have been a bit of a pisser if they had won it this week and we had to give a GOH :emoticon-0105-wink:

They are our biggest rivals but the league is gone, forget it <ok>

Given the option, I'd take guard of honour over a trophy presentation. A guard of honour is a show of respect so actually bodes well for your own team for doing it. Seeing a rival lift a trophy you wanted is sickening.

I'd say its now at a point where warm bodies is an issue.

Right now our sub options midweek are:

Lovren to go 3 at back
    Oxlade
    Ings

But you're not a spokesman for all Utd fans, don't know if you're going to the game but don't pretend that those who are will take a defeat of epic proportions at their neighbours place and watching their fans celebrate winning the title and sing songs rubbing Utd's nose in the dirt would be just the same as Utd's last league defeat to Newcastle.<laugh>

Mourinho is still using the "transition" excuse as a reason for his failure to challenge City this season, he's spent the money and talked the talk pre season.
Clubs in transition don't win two trophies in one season or have the option to prioritise one competition over another like they did last season, he will never admit it but it's his brand of "careful" football that's the real problem, in his last sentence he pathetically uses the Cup that got LvG sacked as some sort of substitute for failure in the league and CL.

Jose Mourinho: Manchester United boss says Manchester City are practically impossible to follow

"We are having a positive season and we still have the FA Cup to come. We are going to fight for our presence there."
