What a drive to win the Championship. Congratulations Lewis, 7 Times WDC. Incredible, and well deserved.
If you look at the results today you would say experience in F1 is critical. The less experienced drivers may have been fast on a quali lap but they couldn't keep at the front.
great drive from Seb today, that was more like the guy we know- was far better under pressure today, again didn’t put a foot wrong, superb effort.
Perez’s inters didn’t look as worn as Hamilton’s when they stopped there cars in the pit lane. Hamilton’s were very shiny to say the least.
Turns out Hamilton's inters weren't even new when he put them on. 51 laps on used tyres, not bad, not bad.
I'm not sure what the exact rule is on crossing the white line. He definitely touched it and got at least half a tyre across but beyond that it's inconclusive. They seem to want to brush this one under the carpet with the wording of investigation so meh, who knows.
Hammy is in a class of his own as he has proved, nobody is ever going to beat his record, and he's a few more to add yet.
They did, although Schumacher didn’t. Funny watching this clip now. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/formula1/54932452
That was quite a drive to win his 7th title on. It's days like today where Hamilton proves just how good of a driver he actually is. It's hard to believe that the records Schumacher set have been tumbling. He set the bar so high, I never thought anyone would even come close to them. It really is some achievement. The combination of Hamilton and Merc has been quite a phenomenal force. Dull to watch for the most part, but absolutely exceptional. Big congrats to Hamilton, thoroughly well deserved. It's good day to be a Hamelot.
