Article on Aberdeen wanting to extend Edmundson's loan. Big revelation for me is that his contract expires in the summer. It underlines my intuitive feeling that he will not make it with Leeds. If I remember correctly, doesn't that mean that he can be 'legally' approached now, to sign for someone in the summer? Thoughts?

Think both Ryan and Jordan have played their last games for Leeds Utd. Aberdeen will hope to get Edmondson on a freeand then make a few quid by selling him next season. Stevens started off brilliantly but soon got benched and spent a while on the bench and then his manager was sacked and meant John Sheridan took over but doesnt facy him. So will now go to Bradford and hope to do the business with his mates from the academy. Bryce Hosannah and Paudy O’Connor. Lets face it in the academy now we have Niall Huggins who can play out wide, Liam McCarron, Stewart McKinstry and in the first team Poveda, Harrison, Raphinah and Costa. Sorry Jordan but you got some minutes for the first team but havent kicked on

i heard in the grapevine that the Erick Pulgar thing is actually a goer. I then saw todays Italian press........ Thursday’s edition of La Nazione reports Leeds United have made the ‘most concrete’ contact for Pulgar, and the player is ‘closer to a farewell’. The 26-year-old hasn’t got off the bench for Fiorentina in the last two matches, which is seen as something of a sign.

 

A Bielsa favourite and Chile International. A player who can cover for Kalvin Phillips, Klich or Rodrigo. World class DM and AM

Pulgar is only 26 yo but has been playing for Chile since 2015 and won the Copa America with Chile. He was bought by Bologna in 2015 and played 100 times for them before being signed by Fiorentina in 2019 and has played 46 games for them. He has scored goals for both Italian clubs and is no bog standard player. This is a high end player and I hope we get him, but not surprised if it turns out to be bollox. The facts are that Pulgar is admired by Bielsa and the feeling is mutual. This player is De Paul class and would probably a Summer signing
