Now it's crystal clear that Mike Ashley has absolutely no ambition above staying in the Premier League, the Geordie public have a simple choice to make.

Will they continue to buy season tickets and merchandise with the knowledge that the owner will simply pocket the cash so he can buy the dying Hight Street, or will they boycott the ground and shop in a protest to show Fat Controller, Mike Ashley, that they are more than brain-dead lemmings who simply turn up out of habit.

    What will YOU do? <confused>

Think I am veering towards the brain-dead lemming at the moment. I don't have a season ticket and am a bit old for footy shirts but am buggered if I am missing my 1-2 games a season when I actually am in the UK.

I feel the question is somewhat loaded with opinion. I don't see anyone who continues to go as a brain dead lemming even if I must admit I'm considering jacking it for the first time in 30 years.

Here's me thinking it was the easily led brain dead lemmings who won't be going.

Waiting until the start of the season to see what transfer business is done both in and out.

Assess whether we are stagnating, treading water or progressing and then decide.

    As we currently stand, boycotting.

I understand that there is a huge swell of pride that people have in their local club. I just believe that there is a line to be drawn against Mike Ashley. Otherwise he will be here until he dies!

Without the Perez and Joselu sales, there would have been no record signing.
    Realistically Mike has spent £8m.

I've started to like the shirt, it took time though.

but for that price tag? <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>

They were drunk. I have to pay £60 or in Norway around 600kr then pay an import tax because the item is so ****ing expensive. Will come to almost £100 for a ****ing puma shirt.

And regardless of what it looks like, the quality ain't that great. The bog roll I buy from Aldi feels better in all honesty.

I'm still not buying shirts or tickets. I'll happily accept tickets as "gifts" in exchange for lashings of alcohol (preferably not purchased on SJP premises) of course.

I will also look elsewhere for my golfing paraphernalia so Sports Direct can **** off, not getting my money any more.

If it's good enough for Westwood then it's good enough for me :1980_boogie_down:

Does Westwood still have that deal with Ashley ie win a major and get £1m bonus from him?

Exactly my ****ing puma shirt remark.
I'm a bit of shirt collector actually, if the teams good and the strip is sexy I usually give it a buy.

so I have a lot of random shirts, all different brand's and Puma rank bottom. Easily.

I bought a Portsmouth shirt last season cos their strip was sexy (Pompey always have nice kits) and Jesus the quality is above and beyond anything we've had.

    I miss Adidas.

I don't buy premier league rival shirts BTW, just lower league ones. <laugh>

Nee idea mate, probably. He'll be doing alright if he isn't I'm sure. Think he has a number of sponsors, Close House, UPS, Dunlop and Ping and he only has ping stuff in his bag, always has done.

He once had a set of clubs go missing in transit, rang the guys at Ping up in America, they had a brand new replacement set out to him at the tournament he was at the next day. Not a bad position to be in if you ask me. If I see him I'll have to let him know that Dorts has a set going spare now if he gets stuck anywhere locally.
