You might also want to give MS more authority over transfers. Still don't really know what happened with Snodgrass, Livermore and Salibur.
I don't know about that, it might be that he became available later in the day, but if hey really wanted him, they should have gone and started earlier.
It was a stupid decision either way, that's for sure. I am convinced Salibur would have got at least a couple of goals for us, and proven a more than worthy deputy to Markovic when he was injured, or even up front with Niasse/Hernandez. That may have made all the difference between relegation and staying up.
Deliberate or not the later you leave to the deal the more chances of errors and things going wrong. As you know John, it's in the blood. Always trying to get a last minute discount.
You don't seriously believe that do you? Why would he want to do something to damage chances of staying in the Premier League when that would either increase his chances of selling the club( if that's what he wants) or generate him more income and kudos if that's what he wants.
If you cast your mind back to when Silva was first interviewed he said the budget to improve the squad was small. In fact it turned out even less than that. With £20m+ coming in and the money spent on Evandro & Grosicki plus the extra wages, I reckon there was a net saving to the club. Silva nearly saved us without spending a single penny.
Ok I'll check what he has said on his fake twitter account too if you want In fact I could just set him another fake account up and post what we all like on it...what shall we say first?!
I tends to be something he says at a press conference just typed on so somebody else is doing it definitely. It'd be strange for him to repeat himself word for word hours after a press conference.
I just wonder of Marco's demands might be a step too far. I'm sure that training facilities will be on his list pf 'must improves'...
He damaged the chances of staying in the premier league (as well as refusing to sell us at a decent price) at the start of the season He has the form for it.
