Great win that. Another all important step towards the automatic spots. O’Nien was shocking tonight. I think him at centre back has run it’s course as it did earlier on in the season, wouldn’t mind seeing him in a more advanced role moving forwards. Class to Stewart get on the scoresheet too. Also as expected, much better side with Winchester in it. He is looking an absolute bargain.
Cracking result. It’s not about performance it’s grinding out 3 points. After Sunday that is a great effort from LJ and the entire squad. Very pleasing to see something of a winning mentality finally taking shape. Brilliant.
Hell's Bells Looks like a bloody Rag and Bone man KLD will have some stories to tell his mates after this season.
Fcuking Hull only have one more evening kick off, against us. Our squad is deeper, still be a fair few injuries yet.
Another bit I’d like to add, Power is doing a monster job as captain, lads undoubtedly a leader. His performances as well last few weeks have been outstanding, for me he’s been a MOTM contender 7-8 of last 10. Not to be underestimated leadership. He’s been fantastic.
I I thought the same. Not up to his recent standards and had a poor touch a couple of times but he has been motm not putting a foot wrong looking impeccable in his touch the last couple of matches. Surely he is allowed a off day with couple of little poor touches.
He has more than anyone kept us in this race, I long to see him back in mid-field , but would not be worried in the slightest to see him continue at the back, my biggest worry would be to loose him before the job is completed tbh.
Not long ago we didn't think out squad was good enough. How things change Of course but doing something right when second game running the other team didn't get a shot on target. He has been a stand out performer and rightly winning plaudits so for anyone to say he has ran his course as a defender after one less than great game is unbelievable
Sorry marra, O9 has been a godsend. If we sign Sanderson as captain I'd be happy, otherwise it would be O9 at the back as captain.
Creeping towards that 2 points per game target. Outstanding from the squad and coaching staff. Everybody contributing. KLD in the background, quietly inspiring everyone.
Anybody any idea how our yellow card tally is looking, are any of the lads on the brink of a suspension, usually Catts has had two bans by this late in the season.
For the first time in a long time our players it seems believe in the Manager and know what he wants.
