Is this a 'tire them out then bring on some pace' tactic?
Bang on , again
Winchester will come on and rifle one in , chortle
Certainly looks that way to me. now watch a thrilling first half unfold
I don't mind the team, certainly beats the times that Parky played 5 defenders and 4 defensive midfielders.
Sanderson is good but I don't blame him for playing Willis now he's back. Great to see my man Luke on the bench I was expecting a couple of weeks longer. Dunno if I remembered it wrong or if Johnson's a bit of a tinker and likes to spring a surprise.
I'm hoping LJ is a tinker, otherwise it means squad is thread bare and it's desperation putting O'Nien out there
would rather Sanderson for Power at right back personally seeing Sanderson played there in the championship last season
I think it’s a case of him seeing O’Nien as an attacking midfielder.
Trying to get my head round that formation. Is this it or summat else?
Power Willis Wright McFadzean
Scowen Embleton McGeady
Lots of energy and purpose on the bench which is good to see. Diamond, Sanderson, Maguire and Shotgun. Maybe even O'Nien & Younger.
Yeah hopefully, it wouldn't be the first time he's had to put a load of crocks on the bench. He really shouldn't though, better to play an unproven youth player than risk making an injury much worse.
I'm shocked you pulled the trigger on that quip.
I know what you mean but at 27 we can't wait much longer to convert Power to RB, it seems like it's being taken more seriously than just sticking O'Nien there out of necessity.
Do these teams do these stupid warm up routines to delay games just against us or every game?
I feel like this is every week.
yeh I reckon LJ has basically decided Power doesn’t fit for him in centre mid so this is the chance for Power to earn a new contract
Good early move. Looking positive, trying to find the pockets and drive into the gaps.
