I woke up that morning and turned on the news as ya do, saw that a plane had gone in to the tower not a few mins before. Sat for a sec thinkin wtf, then went to make a cuppa, came back and rolled my morning joint while the 2nd went in. But at the time i didnt realise i was watching the 2nd plane live, i thought it was replay of the 1st. Where i lived then was a block under a flight path and i remember i was a bit nervous tbh One of those moments where you remember where you were when you heard kinda things init. As of July 27, 2018, there were 2,372 United States military deaths and 4 Department of Defense civilian deaths in the War in Afghanistan. 1,856 of these deaths have been the result of hostile action. 320 American servicemembers have also been wounded in action during the war. Going by that im guessing that by 2021 theyd lost more over in Afghanistan than they did in the attack. Seems legit
So it appears the swift action by Biden in response to the Kabul bombing, was to blow up islamic state suicide terrorists with a drone strike, I'm sure I remember them rejoicing over this.
