It's dull as these days... Its really lost its edge.. Used to be exciting

 

What "edge" are we talking about here?

Just saying there's plenty of teams playing attractive attacking football in the Prem or in the Champions League, just cos we're horrific to watch doesn't mean all football sucks. Look at Leeds for example - fearless, attacking and entertaining, ie everything we're not.

 

The sport has lost its edge almost entirely.. The premier league used to be exciting end to end football.. Now its infested with boring European style football and its stop start... It was already dull before VAR which has finished the game off even more.

 

It's never going to be as exciting as it was in the 80s, cos the astronomical increase in player salary since then mean there's fair less characters and players are all clean living dull bores. Gimme Mick Quinn getting drunk and high the night before matches over the modern day bores any day.

That said, if you compare it to the Italian or Spanish league the Prem is far more fast paced and exciting to watch, we just bring the standard down.

I don't enjoy it anymore its just something I watch whether it's nufc or not.

I can see what's being sold to the public, I can see its slowly being moved forger and further towards everyone supporting one of the big clubs and talking about how we'll they did vs the also rans.

 

I think if anyone expected our better players to stay you need to give your head a shake. If we stay up theres a chance but if Bruce is still here I'd imagine a few will force through moves - and who could blame them.
