I was listening to the bbc last night and they were talking about ormerods goal for blackpool. The commentator said that he was the first person to score for the same club in all four divisions and I got myself thinking, that can't be right. I know for a fact Ashbee and dawson have scored in leagues 2, the chmapionship and the premier league but I'm unsure whether they have in league 1. I think ash scored in the 6-1 against tranmere but I'm not too certain and I don't have a clue about dawson. Can anyone help me out? Its only league 1 I'm uncertain of...
Think Ormerod achieved it before his spell with Blackpool, think he played for Southampton in the Prem. Ash has scored in all 4 divisions, but Dawson hasn't yet. Hope these pages help. http://www.sporting-heroes.net/football-heroes/displayhero_club.asp?HeroID=39406 http://www.sporting-heroes.net/football-heroes/displayhero_club.asp?HeroID=38099
Cheers but it shows that Ormerod hasn't scored in all 4 divisions for the same club before yesterday, which is what the thread is for so his goals for southampton don't actually count
Technically Ash scored for City in Division 3, League 1, Championship and Prem. So maybe they assumed that he missed League 2?
The bloke said he's the first guy to score for the same club in all four divisions. So it wouldn't matter if it was Nationwide division 3 or coca cola league 2. Also ormerod scored his goals in division 3 not league 2
Bloody BBC. Is Ashbee the only player to captain AND score for the same club in all 4 divisions? That would be quite an achievement...
As he's the only man to captain in all 4 divisions you would have thought so. Just thinking though, was nobody with Bradford as they slid down the leagues, like maybe Weatherall?
