It was weird not going to Wembley I'd convinced myself, rightly or wrongly, that promotion would mean that the Allams wouldn't sell up so couldn't face watching City live in a game that I didn't really want to win Not saying I was right by the way, but it was just a really strange feeling watching it on telly
We weren't supposed to have them all, but the ticketing agency ****ed up and left us unable to hand any over to FC Massive. Which was a shame...
Other clubs sell that many. A club from that little town of Huddersfield being amongst them. In fact we sold out inn a couple of days once. Is there any connection between having owners that treat the fans with contempt and unsold tickets perhaps?
Last time I asked that question just before the dance, disco or whatever was closing, I got a slap round tne face.
As long as the owners aren't ****ing everyone off, we can sell it out no problem, as we already have.
That is silly. A city the size of Hull can't sell out when little towns with less than half the population of Hull can?
My job precludes me from attending (military and currently deployed on operations) but I also live a long way from KuH. MoH
Ooh err, Sounds like a chat up line back in the 70/80s! I have always been a goer, still am a good goer and, god willing, still intend to be. I won't deny we did have a wobble last season about renewing and same again this year, but to me it's probably the only quality time which the family spend together going to City, together with my sister and her family, the gang of us spending time together enjoying the banter, and I ain't going to let the Allams spoil that. I say enjoy but as the kids are now growing up, they can't wait to get in to ground and go find somewhere else to sit/stand away from the embarrassing mums losing control! That's not to say I do despise Dumb n Dumber for all the division created, childish despicable antics, and the way people have been tret and the day/24 hours cannot come soon enough when they take their money and jog on.
I thought 'our lass' was a bit of a goer before we got married. She doesn't seem interested now. She hasn't been once this season. Am I alone in experiencing this?
So what are the other reasons we have more problems than clubs from smaller towns selling tickets for Wembley?
