What an awkward awkward match. Stadium half empty, No one really cares when city scores. No one really cares about the score overall.
must be worrying for them to be honest...The next stage is tickets not being bought. Then there is the issue that few players will want to play in a half empty ground.
I was hoping Wenger would leave at the end of the season, but now? Now things are getting more toxic than I ever imagined. He needs to be gone by the end of the week. No two ways about it. There is no benefit for either him or us in him staying beyond that. We simply cannot afford for this to continue.
You've gotta love an optimist !!!! People saying our best chance of any positive to this season is Europe but looking at who is left in the comp we have little chance. Got to be our worst season for a long time. AW hang your head in shame.
Your missing the point, Kronke is quite happy with his investment and that's all we are now.Biggest mistake this club ever made.Let it be a warning to other club's.
The players can come out and say they're behind the manager until they're blue in the face. The reality is, it is clear as day they are not performing for him anymore. Every time we set foot on that pitch, the whole team looks like they want to give up. There is no fight or bravery within these players. He needs to be gone as soon as possible if we are to salvage anything from this horrid season.
Don't really know what to say about that half. We've actually played pretty well and it's a good response from the players after Sunday, but we're 0-3 down, because City are brilliant. Where do we go from here ... ?
Unless you have the comeback of all comebacks, surely his position is now untenable? Unless the board are pinning everything on the Europa league?
In general I agree with you. But not about tonight. The players have actually put in a decent shift, although we're still getting battered
Kroenke isn't the one who is responsible for coaching these players. He doesn't set the team. He doesn't set the tactics. Yes, he is a massive problem, but all these issues are more than just his handling of the club. It's the vice-like grip Wenger has on the club where, no matter how poorly we perform, he does not seem to suffer any of the consequences. It's the culture at the club that is bringing us down.
Attacking is only one part of football. We have looked decent going forward, but every time they've looked to attack us, we are on the verge of conceding every time. Every time we concede a goal, it's like the players lose all defensive knowledge and do what they want. I've never seen us defend so badly before. It's unreal.
