Have the Roberts haters noticed how much effort he’s put in, pressing - Made some good tackles and blocks.

He’s playing well but it is typical of him, one good game followed by 5 poor ones

except he’s actually done well on most of his recent substitute appearances.

he was a disappointment last year... but people aren’t judging what they see with him this year in my opinion.

First half garbage with Meslier at fault for at least 2 goals. Should never have messed with putting Struijk into the DM role and Shacks missing all half as was Harrison and Klich. Stupid playing it out from the back when the press is on. Arsenal deserved to be one or two up at half time.

Much better second half and as I am no fan of Roberts I have to say he was awesome after coming on. Ran his heart out and created a goal and if Shacks had done better it would have been 2 assists. Enjoyed what he was doing so ats off to him. Pleased to see Huggins but we didnt actually see Huggins as he was just moved into the middle and bypassed. He would have done serious damage and scared Arsenal to death if he was played at LB or given the ball. At least he got his debut. Costa screwed up for their 4th goal as soon as he came on but again I have to say he was a changed man this afternoon and he ut his weight about and showed some skill and pace and scored a good goal. Great to see a fight back and pleased for Struijk and his goal

We need to toughen up, one of there players go down with a so called injury, especially when it was 4-2 and they were rocking a bit, we kick the ball out and go enquire if the player is ok!!!!!! Fck him, carry on playing it’s not a head injury ffs

One other total confusion was young Huggins coming on, I thought he was a LB? play him in MF(position he is not used to) put Dallas back to LB, yes let’s change it all again ffs sorry Amigo it’s a big fck up on your behalf.
Oh btw Shackleton ain’t good enough for the PL

Meslier - 2. All 3 goals. Chickens came home to roost after alot of close calls this season. Sounness was right. He needs to learn from mistakes but he continues to make them. It could screw with his head and we have another Kiko. Sort it young un.

Alioski - 1. Very sloppy. Making jokes with Arsenal players when 3-0 down is a big no from me.

Cooper - 4. Good second half but piss poor positioning first half.

Ayling - 3. Tore to shreds all game. Aubameyang will never have an easier game.

Shackleton - 5. Not the worst out there but will have to do better if he wants to play at pro level.

Struijk - 5. Out of position. Arsenal zipped the ball around him. He couldn't control anything. When we had possession did the easy thing and got his goal.

Klich - 5. Wasn't the worst culprit in the middle. Tried to make his runs down the channel but we kept losing the ball leaving Dallas and Struijk stranded. Thought he carried a nuisance factor in defence.

Dallas - 6. Ran his arse off. One of the few who kept the ball quite well and got a few strong tackles in. Shame the other 10 didn't have his attitude.

Harrison - 4. Whipped a lovely cross for Bamford but lost his one v one heavily.

Raphinha - 6. Tried to rally the troops and put in a great assist for Struijk. Lost the ball trying too hard too often. Relax and play your game.

Bamford - 5. Made Luiz look a good centre half and old manned/conned too often by the other lad.

    Subs.

Roberts - 8. Best showing for a long time. Grafted and played very well.

Costa - 7. Caught cold for the fourth although was put in a bad spot. Had a positive impact on the game. Well taken goal.

Huggins - 6. Debut. Moved all over the place but held his own. We looked a better side with the subs on so credit to the kid. Onwards and upwards lad. Make LB your own.

It was men against boys in the first half. Is there really no midfielder that Bielsa trusts to deputize for Phillips ?

A re-jig of an already suspect defense was a poor call from Bielsa - with two center halves out, taking out another to play in midfield was a bad call

In the middle we had no presence. Which just shows how threadbare our squad is right now - and you really have to question Bielsa's preference for small-ish squads. Watch the first half, I was thinking who we had that we could bring on to help turn it around.
