Nelson and Zinchenko on for Trossard and Kiwior? Don’t get those changes, but let’s hope it works.

This really has been poor game management from us. We’re panicking too much and feeling the pressure. You can tell because everyone wants the ball to feet, whereas beforehand, we were creating space and rotating our forwards.

Another shirt pull in the box, VAR gloss over it and just decide it's not a penalty apparently. This is so ridiculous.

Odegaard off, Partey on. Hmm. Partey's not the most technically secure person to have when you want to see out the game.

    FT. 2-1.

Thank god that's over. Huge win!

Horrible, horrible game to go through, so nervy and jittery. Ramsdale is lucky he got bailed out late on after that disaster on the stroke of half time, but he made some decent saves second half and wasn't as stupid.

I think that'll be his last game for us now, but at least he signs off with a victory.

None of the performance concerns matters now though - 8 wins in a row and top of the league <diva>.

MOTM for me is Ben White. Two assists, big defensive performances and some huge duels and interceptions. What a player he is.

Thank **** for that. "We are TOP of the league, say we are TOP of the league"

Not vintage but Frank is a good manager and often comes up with a tricky game-plane. (which he did today)

Ramsdale does bring a nervous energy, he does make more mistakes.. but I still think he's the better shotstopper. We saw a bit of that in the second half.

Havertz is just getting better and better. He's becoming a match winner for us.

Fantastic win! I'd forgotten what it was like to be a true Arsenal fan over the past month with our blow away wins, these games are great to win but they aren't good for the ticker! COYG!! "We are top of the league..we are top of the league.."

Shout out's to Suntan man, Havertz, Rice and the GabSal partnership!

Over to the "other" 2 to kick the **** out of each other, do I want a draw or a Pool win?? hmmmm tough call that one.

Definitely not a Pool win. A City win or a draw is better for us.

I know I already mentioned this a few times during the game, but I was really frustrated with the referee and VAR yesterday.

Rob Jones is honestly terrible and he doesn’t know how to control a game whatsoever. Paul Tierney’s ‘punishment’ for the error in the Forest-Liverpool game last week? Gets chosen to be the VAR against us in a title run-in. He was also a disgrace and did a **** job yet again.

I also don’t like the fact the focus on the controversial moment was based on Thomas Frank’s suggestion Havertz should have been off. He did dive and it should have been a yellow in isolation, but his first yellow wasn’t even a bloody yellow to begin with.

On top of that, Brentford were disrupting the rhythm of the game by getting cheap fouls, spending loads of time on the floor after minimal contact to eat up the seconds, booting the ball high and off the pitch frequently….the statistics support this:

Half the effing game was spent with the ball NOT in play <laugh>

We also should have had two penalties - the one on Trossard and one on Gabriel. Look at the penalty City got earlier in the season compared to Collins’ grabbing Trossard’s shirt around the neck. It’s a penalty ffs.

    Ridiculous.

Yeah it reminded me of the Newcastle game earlier in the Season - only we got the win this time.

I think Frank and Brentford had planned to break the game up this way though - basically to stop us gaining momentum.

But yeah referee was awful - yellow cards for next to nothing while ignoring clear penalty shouts.
