I know I already mentioned this a few times during the game, but I was really frustrated with the referee and VAR yesterday.

Rob Jones is honestly terrible and he doesn’t know how to control a game whatsoever. Paul Tierney’s ‘punishment’ for the error in the Forest-Liverpool game last week? Gets chosen to be the VAR against us in a title run-in. He was also a disgrace and did a **** job yet again.

I also don’t like the fact the focus on the controversial moment was based on Thomas Frank’s suggestion Havertz should have been off. He did dive and it should have been a yellow in isolation, but his first yellow wasn’t even a bloody yellow to begin with.

On top of that, Brentford were disrupting the rhythm of the game by getting cheap fouls, spending loads of time on the floor after minimal contact to eat up the seconds, booting the ball high and off the pitch frequently….the statistics support this:

Half the effing game was spent with the ball NOT in play

We also should have had two penalties - the one on Trossard and one on Gabriel. Look at the penalty City got earlier in the season compared to Collins’ grabbing Trossard’s shirt around the neck. It’s a penalty ffs.

Yep **** ref, blowing up for nothing challenges every time Brentford players went down and ignoring the obvious pens on Trossard and Gabriel

VAR is ****, it does nothing to redress the mistakes.

Thankfully ****e officiating didn't cost us this time.
