We've got a more crucial game in 3 days I think we went there and tried to counter, but Arsenal swarmed us and I have to say were very impressive off the ball.

Well I have to say he's bound to be enjoying watching today and feeling like he's served more humble pie.

 

End of the day, regardless of who the manager is the squad is piss poor.

We have 1 poor LWB

We have 5 poor cb's to pick from

We have 2 poor rwb to pick from

We have 1 show pony to pick from for LW

We have an aging, poor rm to pick from

We have 1 average cm and 4 poor cm's to choose from

We have 1 average am to pick from

We have 2 poor rw to choose from

We have 1 decent striker, 2 **** strikers to choose from.

 

The more i think about it the more i'm baffled by that selection.

Ritchie is ****e and played out of position.

Lascelles is ****e and shouldn't be playing.

Krafth is the worst player in the squad and is played out of position.

Fraser is being played out of position.

Joelinton is ****e (i don't care about one decent game)

Two CM's who don't want to defend.

Really really poor selection.

Yes we must beat Norwich if anything more than to give us a lift. I honestly think Norwich might win today and that gives them a massive head start on us.

We then need Brighton to beat Leeds.

And why is Manquillo not getting game time.

Some positives for me. Concerned about our fitness levels. We only seemed to be able to fully press for 30mins. Gonna take him time to sort that out. Overall I didn’t really expect much, Arsenal have improved hand over fist in recent times. They have better players than us.

I thought we were poor with the ball though and as a result missed some really good counter attack opportunities.

The thing is that nobody seemed to provide Bruce that get out of jail card.
The fans were saying Bruce had the best squad ever under Ashley.

It's far too soon to judge Howe, but Bruce and the media will be right to say I told you so if he fails to keep the club up.

 

Personally don’t think he could cope physically with the league. Both spells in this country beset by injuries. He’s very slow so perhaps he has to really push himself physically to deal with the game here. Good defender though.
