There is still 48 hours to go and two training sessions so we will be careful but it will be approximately the same squad. Of course Rosicky [is out], and Wilshere is not ready. But everyone else should be available on Danny Welbeck… I think he is very close. Fitness-wise he is there, it is just competition he misses. It is a bit early for him maybe but he is now back to full power in training. It is a big possibility [he could be involved against Hull next week]. We gave him one or two days recovery after the under-21 game, but now he is back in full training. He has worked very hard and he is fit. on Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla… They are back running, they are on a fitness programme now so it means it is not a question of months anymore, it is a question of weeks for them to be back. I can’t count on them in the next three or four weeks but everybody else yes [I will count on them]. please log in to view this image
Not606 was broken this afternoon, but that's no excuse for OXOcube to sit on his arse doing nothing ... again Massive game this. We smashed them 5-2 earlier in the season, but I think this one will be close. Leicester just seem unstoppable at the moment and with some of our defending recently I can't see us keeping a clean sheet. I think this is going to be a high scoring draw. I'm going for 2-2
Ha ha . I was thinking about starting one myself. Big game. If we beat Leicester we are right back on track. I'm hoping Wenger starts this team... -----------------Leceister----------------- Bellerin--Merts--Koscielny--Monreal -----------Coquelin---Ramsey---------- ---------------------Ozil--------------------- --Campbell-----Giroud-----Sanchez-- Although Walcott had a great game against them upfront earlier in the Season. The key for us is to sit deep and hit on the break.
I think that's a great team line up, stick Leicester in Goal and they'll have no players to defend their goal. Genius ......
We will win this. For some reason, I am pretty confident ahead of this particular game. The Spurs and Man Utd games worry me more.
He said he'd been sick before the Bournemouth game. Are you trying to bump him off so that you can have your old job back ?
For some reason I can't see us losing this one. If there is one team that can beat them this season, its going to be us. We'll be well up for this game. Our biggest problem is maintaining consistency.
What a ****ing dumb stupid **** thing to say! Haven't all our recent games been must win.... <insert several other lines of expletive ridden nonsense>
The biggest conundrum for me is who starts up front. Theo is in shocking form as of late but let's not forget his early season stint at CF which worked to great effect, especially since it also helped give us 2 different options up top. If Leicester want to play a high line and press up then a counter-style with Theo as CF may be the better route (as shown during the 5-2 win). GK + Back 4 pics itself. Coq should be match fit by now so I'd play him ahead of Flamini. We could shunt Ramsey RW with Elneny in the pivot or we could keep him central. Sanchez and Ozil starters of course.
I think when theo is on form then he is a great option against teams playing a high line or where we need to counter attack, but in his current form i think he gives the ball away too much, takes too many wrong options and misses too many chances. And against a good counter attacking side you can't afford to give the ball away in dangerous positions
