You have to learn to post 6 or 7 unanswered posts to yourself all saying the same thing but getting wilder and wilder as they go on
Actually, it's even more simple than that. A real fan supports his team, regardless of whether they win, lose or draw.
****s sake, who said anything about not supporting the team? You just invented a straw man. What I said a real fan does not do is keep making excuses for bottle jobs and the one who is responsible for it, the manager. Support the team all the way, only quit the spin jobs and defending of the specialist in bottle jobs.
Fair enough, it just comes across that you slag the team off week in week out. I must be mistaken when you go off on your rants, you're actually giving them your support
There's no such thing as a 'good fan'. People can choose to support a club however they want without being dictated to by others or worrying about sticking to some arbitrary and fictional honour code. The way one fan supports their team will no doubt annoy another fan. You don't have to support your team in the same way as anyone else and no one else has to support the team like you do. But that doesn't make one fan 'better' or 'worse' than the other.
I'm not entirely sure you could call my posts 'angry' can you? I don't go out of my way to personally insult posters on here. And anyway, I already wrote... "The way one fan supports their team will no doubt annoy another fan." Case in point PISKIE --> The way he supports is Arsenal is baffling and annoying to me. But I can't dictate to him how to support Arsenal. He can support them however he wants. Neither of us are any better or worse fans of Arsenal FC.
Nobody has used the term "good fan" on here.A87 said that supporters of Arsene Wenger were not "real" Arsenal fans
Followed by a load more (including you) debating in what it takes to be a 'real' fan... suggesting they (and you) actually believe there is such a thing.
