OK so we have an extra day to wait for our fix this week as Swansea have a UEFA league match on Thursday against FC Gallen. The big question is can we keep the momentum going with our fourth win on the bounce and even get a fourth consecutive clean sheet!

No injury news that I'm aware of but strong rumours that Danny Fox is on his way so scope for Targett to be on the bench maybe. 9 of the starting 11 piick themselves and the only question is who gets the nod in midfield from Gaston, Adam, Jrod, Davis and JWP.

Swansea have started this season in reasonable form especially away with wins at West Brom and Palace. They have 7 points from 6 matches.




I'm going for a hard fought 2-0 win with Osvaldo scoring both.

At home I'd make the Saints favourites for this one so I would take a point now

 

The bookies make the Saints hot favourites - Southampton 1/1 Draw 5/2 Swansea 13/5

 

I'd also take a point, will be a hard game against a well organised side. Will our European game on Thursday have an effect, hope not with us playing at home means no travel, and at least only half the side that plays on Thursday will play on Sunday.

Only disappointment is that I can't be at the game Sunday.

Oh by the way watch out for one or two of our lads, the do like a drink or four, namely PGF & Dilli plus they do like to talk about rissoles a lot.

Sorry to disappoint you never, but I can't make it on Sunday Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. We'll have a go Olly. It should be an open game. Having said that, last years fixture at the Liberty turned into a midfield battle with both sides cancelling each other out.

I think a side are in for a tonking. It's been long overdue. I think Swansea's goal difference is going to get substantially worse. So much so, that Saints will comfortably leapfrog Chelsea, whether they win well or not.

One thing for sure, you won't see a bus parked buy us, it's not in our nature. Should be a great open game of flowing football, so long as our midfield's don't cancel each other out.

was being quite reserved in my prediction but since all the dai's have 'swanned' onto our board filling it with threads of some team called Swansea I will have to increase my predicted score from 3-0 to 5-0. Let that be a lesson to you.
