Really good spectacle. Plenty of good stuff from Norwich but the trouble is West Brom have created better chances on the break. Just don't think there is enough quality in the side. I know you will curse your luck but when you've had a chance in front of goal it's been snatched every time. Yes one or two may have flown in but at this level you need players who will force saves and force a powerful shot on target. West Brom have been awful but they've still looked more likely to put it in the net and I think that's where your failure to invest will come to bite you on the bum. Less than four points from the next two games and the dye is cast.

ok, so elbows in the face in the penalty box do not get penalties awarded! WTF?

Disgraceful refereeing once again, every bloody week!

Agreed, everything that seems to be able to against us does and nothing goes for us...

Oh and Hampy, at least we've looked sorta convincing in our defeat! :)

Did we honestly deserve anything from the game today?

I can't believe you didn't bury any of the crosses to be frank. Offensively everything was there aside from the finish.

In terms of creating chances yes, in terms of finishing no, although we had 2 penalty shouts, one I'd say was definatley a penalty, the other was probably not, but Brom where given a penalty for something similar in the game, so you never know. In the end we've been made to pay for our errors again and against not really getting the ref decisions going our way, but I think who was West Brom who conceded to Stoke when the ball was kicked out of the keeper's hands!

We had the same problem last season with referees. Once you get past your first season you will be fine. Ish.

We were well worth the three points though - hit post, missed one on one, missed penalty. We can play a lot better than that but three of those players are effectively having their pre-season.

How many posts do you need to get beyond a newbie?

  9. Time and time again we were pulled down by olsson in the box. That was never a penalty, excellent save by Rudd though.

Halsey is too slow to keep up! West brom were cheating and getting away with it all over the place.

Another costly mistake from de laet too.....so frustrating to watch. We can't keep picking Martin IMO, too slow with him and holt together means we are limited to one style of play. Don't get me wrong, he works his socks off but it's too easy to defend against those two together.

Well, that was never a penalty anyway, unlike when you where shoving our players in the box. And we are already depleted by injuries not to mention having our first choice goalkeeper absent.

I try to avoid writing straight after a game because I've not got my level head on.

We cannot rely on the refs to spot everything, but we should have had maybe one penalty.

Agree with Hampy in that we should have taken our chances, WBA looked like the experienced Premiership team and we looked like the passionate new boys. Can't help but feel we looked ever so slightly lightweight.

Take our chances and we will stay up.

Final thought: WE CANNOT RELY ON CONSISTENT REFEREEING, SO MOVE ON AND WIN WITHOUT HELP.

No we did not deserve anything. Our defence is going to get taken to the cleaners against the likes of the 2 Manchester teams if they play as they did today.

Our strikers could have played for another 90 minutes and still not score, they do not look confident when hitting/heading the ball. Steve Morison should have at least forced a save for example.

We don't cheat as a rule, but you can get away with a little naughtiness against newcomers.

Ask Blackpool fans about the decisions that went against them last season.

We have noticed. It's only happened in all 4 games we have played in the PL

Correct - Foster did next to nothing today. Grant Holt is not a Premiership striker. Sorry. He lacks intelligence at this level and does not look fit.

passionate yes but lacked the quality in the final 3rd, we looked disjointed and passing was sloppy at the best of times, credit to WBA who set up there stall and done the job countering us, lets just hope vaughn comes into some form and finds a good striking partner out of the many we have, this gives lambo something to think about now, a reshuffle maybe needed and i would like to see russell martin back in, naughton hardly made a successful pass.

Playing 2 big lumps up front is ridiculous, no pace and no danger to any defender over 6foot who can compete in the air. Everytime we had the ball out wide there was 1 player in the box at the most. Never going to score like that.

Send De Laet back to Man Utd, mistake after mistake. Give us Jones or Smalling instead ;-)

Other than that, got to love Prem refs!

Chris Martin looked a much better bet than anybody else when he came on.

West brom deserved the win today as they hit the post, ia m surprised that Vaughan did nt get sent off in 90 plus mins....
The way he smashed the defenders elbow with his face warranted a red card....
I hope Baggies appeal and Vaughan gets a lengthy ban, he is a disgrace and maybe W Brom should have been awarded another 3 pens.......
We are the dirtiest side ever to play in the Prem:cheesy:
