Just one stream atm : Cricfree - Aston Villa v Sunderland Another stream now : Feed2All - Aston Villa v Sunderland G'Day AussieBlackcat85 ... To answer your post (in Players In and Out). Not an 'easy' 3 points, but Aston Villa should beat Sunderland if we are to have that mid to upper table season we are expecting. Both sides have suspect defences atm, so it could be a scorefest. I am happy with the play and progress under Tim Sherwood and hope AVFC gets back to how we were under MON, who we have all missed for the past 5 Seasons !!! I hope Sunderland have a good season too, starting from Sunday !
EPL, Saturday 29/08/2015 : Aston Villa 2-2 Sunderland The game today had for me the air of a training match; don't ask me why, it was just my impression. We started with another giveaway, conceding the free kick that led to Sunderland's opener, although they returned the favour by conceding the penalty, which was well executed by Sinclair. My only gripe about the play was the excess amount of aerial play; keep it on the deck, please. The two goals from open play illustrated the value of keeping it on the deck and both were excellent. For us before half-time from a sweeping team movement, for Sunderland in the second half through a cutting counter-attack. Nevertheless, we should have won this game, we had chances enough. Attendance : 35,399 (AVFC)

EPL Sunday 13/09/2015 : Leicester City 3-2 Aston Villa Talk about throwing it away, from 2-0 up too !!! Grealish's excellent first-half goal and in the second, Gabby and Gil combined well for our second, but then Gil is substituted, FFS !!! ... 'injured' per TS. The corner that led to Leicester's first goal came from two of our players faffing about on our right wing. Before that and thereafter Leicester were playing it on the deck with incisive passing, whereas we were hoofing (again) and passing to marked players, who lost possession, reflecting our loss of team cohesion in the second half. AVFC are 15th in the EPL atm and for all the early promise in this game, must do better to avoid yet another relegation battle and embarrassments against the Baggies and the Dummies. Thoughts on the Liverpool game Larry? Rodgers under pressure and desperate for three points, injuries piling up for us aswell
EPL, Saturday 26/09/2015 : Liverpool 3-2 Aston Villa With all the pressure Liverpool applied, that was more of a siege than a game, to be expected I suppose. Nevertheless, I never thought we were down and out and that AVFC could always get back into it, evidenced by Gestede's two well taken goals and he missed a chance in the first half too. However, as in previous games, we were too often guilty of gifting Liverpool possession, through loose passing, which just helped Liverpool to continue to apply their pressure; we have Guzan to thank for keeping the score down. This and the other results today sees AVFC drop into the EPL's bottom 3, at 18th, but it is too early to panic. We have the opportunity to see this reversed next week, when AVFC play Stoke City, the team one place and 2 points above us. Attendance : 44,228 (SSN)
EPL, Saturday 03/10/2015 : Aston Villa v Stoke City, KO 15:00 hours. The chance for AVFC to reverse positions in the EPL, by beating the team one place and two points above us.
