I thought we'd get 4 points from these two away fixtures, so I'm quite happy. Our away performances are picking up nicely and if we can keep winning at home then we'll be challenging at the top by the end of October. UTG!
DC post match interview.... "We changed it at half time and it worked a treat and we got the goal I thought we deserved" "We will look at the red card for Mildy and see what we can do." "The support we had here today was fantastic - as always." "It was a great goal from Ollie Clarke but it is a shame he got that red at the end." "We played well and kept trying to push forward even after we scored."
we are 6th outside the play offs on goal difference. its very tight in the top half. from top to 12th is just 9 points in it.
Let's hope we can get a few goals and improve our goal difference. I'm sure it will happen at some point. But I'm just happy that we are competitive and are real contenders for a change...
Having just surfaced here in the Wild Est I reckon that, the point last night could prove very important if DC and the Squad keep on going as last 6 games. Fair play for sticking to the task with 9 men. The work is far from complete until we are back in a proper League however its good to see that the visit of Rovers set a new attendance record last night for Eastleigh and that just shows what a big fish in this little pond we are. The question is can we live upto the billing now we have settled after the awful start to the Season ?
FGR yet to have their 3 points deducted. I cant see them making the play offs this season. I hope they dont anyway.
The goal at Southport is at 2mins 10secs onwards. Best I can find at the moment.
