    1-0 again, we are the new Arsenal. Maatsen looks class. Two central defenders are excellent. Aneke should retain his place up top. We also need Maddison for his creativity.

    Innis was very dominant, Pearce and Oshilaja won't walk back ahead of him or Famewo.

    Maatsen had an excellent debut, the left back spot will be his and he can offer us another pacey option going forward which is what we need.

    Doughty tackled and headed well, along with his usual pace and threat - was probably our man of the match for me.

    We weren't great but we got the win. Williams won't get into the team because the only spot in Bowyer's formation that he can take is Shinnie's.

    I'm pleased Aneke got a goal too, hopefully they'll help his confidence.

    Back to back 1-0 wins, while not playing too well. Bodes well. We need Maddison in the middle for creativity. Still big question marks about where the goals are coming from. Maatsen looks a player.

    I hope Sandgaard stays reasonably positive when nights like this one go against us.

    Still, we won and that's all that matters.
    I can't comment on the performance as I'm not into streaming and all that stuff. Also I am not strong on tactics.
    I'm just happy we got 3 points - an emotion I'm sure we all have in common as Charlton fans <hug>

    Positives definately include Maatsen. Inniss, Shinnie, the guy from Norwich, Doughty's assist and Aneke's goal. Most of he negatives would be Purrington's stupidity, but Bowyer needs a better central pair tan Watson/Pratley.
    Still, a 1-0 win away is Good enough for the new team - things can only get better.
