Not getting involved in your dispute but just making an observation. These days players get literally touched by a finger end and they go down as if they had been struck with a sledge hammer. Not only that but roll around a bit for good measure clutching their face as if the nose has been torn off and an eye is hanging out. We all know why they do it which is to make sure the Referee or some official has seen it and if not the camera picks it up. Getting another player sent off is now part of the game. How feckin sad is that because I cannot for the life of me see why anyone would even think that way let alone embarrass themselves by doing it. The skill level of players along with fitness levels today are many times higher than in previous times. Why then all this emphasis on cheating the system instead of playing the opposition off the park. I hate it having to sit and watch it and yes even if it's one of my team doing it.
No team outside the prem bigger than us(SAFC) and we are more successful than Spurs, fact, £29 to watch us at the STADIUM OF LIGHT as well where i sit but me a season card holder, our owners have been a disaster for the last 40 years let's hope Kyril gets us up. we might have 48,000 on new years day i hope. the new signings on just made on transfer window day must make us champions now.
Fact check not quite fully accurate but you have won the league 6 times to Spurs 2 but Spurs are way ahead with all other major honours
being honest, i do not think i have seen that statement from anyone, i think our fans did give credit for the way your lot played but once we got the second we pretty much controlled the game. i have no idea why you are so bitter, you lost a game away from home and will lose more, as we will...unfortunately it was marred by a couple of incidents that seem common in this league.
I expected to lose. We lost. Let's see what happens at Adams Park. Hopefully we can field our strongest team and get revenge
I would have snapped your hand off for a draw that's how confident I was what angered me was the wums who came onto this thread one of whom post has been deleted I don't expect to go straight back up but hope we make the top 6 if not there is always next season we are not the same Wycombe now that we were 3 years ago and we have come a long way since I started supporting Wycombe 50 years ago back in the Isthmian League days I'm not the bitter and twisted one with delusions of grandeur
Yes. A bit of banter helps. There will always be the odd twat Guy. As you know, there are some on the Gasroom. I like to get other fans on our board. Leave the odd twat to me. I just delete them so they are wasting their time Incidentally Guy, I don't think anyone is accusing you of being 'bitter and twisted one with delusions of grandeur'. But let's leave it there. Glad to be making some friends at Sunderland and look forward to the home game If Gareth is serious about promotion, he will need to strengthen the squad in the loan market and/ or find a freeby gem. No Stewart and no McCleary on Saturday made a major difference at both ends of the pitch. Also, our newbies have had hardly any chance to play together so there is improvement to come there also. I'm optimistic that we will finish top 6 but, at this stage I think we will be fortunate to finish in the top 2. What do you reckon?
Yes Ron top 2 is a long shot hopefully top 6 top half is the minimum we should expect and in all honesty we shouldn't be disappointed with that
I think I won't be able to help being disappointed, having "strengthened' the squad from what got us promotion last season and bearing in mind we won 5 of our last 8 matches in the Championship. So, yes I will be disappointed if we don't go up but I can see how tough it is going to be and my expectations aren't as high as my hopes Having said "strengthened" (notice the quotes) we have, of course lost some strong players in Fred, Adeniran and Uche plus the loans. So we could actually be weaker than we ended the season
