An explanation I've been given for Beale's departure... The club gave all the youth players a form to fill in when we went into lockdown, requesting that they agreed the same cutbacks as the first team players (this was the academy and the first and second year professionals). Beale took issue with this, as the YTS players only get an £80 a week allowance and not a salary, so he told them not to sign it and none of them did. Beale was then called in when Ehab found out and was told he would be sacked if he didn't quit (no compensation as they considered it gross misconduct), so he quit. A lot of the youth lads are really upset about what's happened and some are looking to leave, including a couple of our most promising young players. Another fine mess...
If true it's unconscionable. Looks like papa's lack of a knighthood is still influencing the vindictive actions of his offspring. Really is mind boggling.
I'd have let him sack me and took him to a tribunal.I'm confused as to what basis he has for suggesting that Beale has committed 'gross misconduct'?Anyway,he can still look at taking him for unfair constructive dismissal.
Nothing like a little pre-determination to drop yourself in the ****. Join a Union Take a representative to any meeting which could lead to any form disciplinary action. If you are unaware until the meeting. Halt the meeting, answer no questions & ask for questions they would like to ask in writing, Then instigate grievance action for bullying & intimidation. Ask for, in writing, full & accurate minutes. If they don’t arrive make sure there is a paper trail of your requests. Insist that your Union rep is included in all emails. Sue the ****s.
I've already been contacted by the club, who state the above is not true and that the youth players were at no point asked to take a pay cut. The details above came from the parent of one of the youth players.
You knew that one wouldn't stay up Ben. I was a YTS TV repair man back in a previous life (Newland TV).
Not at all trying to defend the cocks in charge, but if this was a story that came out of the blue in isolation, you'd maybe think 'disgruntled employee', probably in the best interests of the club that he's left. But the pervading stench of nastiness, spitefulness, bullying(?)*, that underlines almost every story that comes out of the club, might lead one to think Beale's story has some mileage. Do people leave salaried employment (especially at this time) when they appear to have been relatively successful at what they are doing for their employer? Not usually ..... Bruce, Adkins and now Beale (feel free to add other Hull City names to the list). *edit - chuck in disrespectful as well.
Yes it is. If he suddenly rocks up at another club in next few days, then maybe the story is without foundation and someone trying to stir things. But .....
Incredible and utterly typical. The man is a walking disaster. I’ll repeat myself - once you accept that The Allams are both incredibly rich and incredibly stupid, nothing comes as a surprise.
Lost my train of thought, but, whilst he may be, hearsay is something that should wait until there is more evidence. I never believe a story on the news until I’ve checked a few sources & see what seems to be the truth. With this, unfortunately, there aren’t any other sources, so it’s all a story until something further comes up!
Tony pennock left Swansea to come here and has stayed! Go figure Craig fagan left here and is tipped to come back It gets boring this The allams are to blame for everything and every excuse not to go
