What do you reckon on The Ox's bass playing Piskie?
I personally reckon he is one of the greatest and as for the rest of the band live, well what a show!...

The most unexpected and definitely the most exclusive gig I’ve ever been to was at Cipriani’s on Wall Street (the original NY stock exchange building) back in 2010. It was a corporate do (about 400 guests) and they promised a headline act. I must admit I was somewhat shocked when out strolled Diana Ross from a door about 10 foot from the table where I was sat, and she did an hours set. I didn’t even realise that she was still performing tbh, so it was pretty ****ing special. Charmed life me like. <laugh> I should write a book tbh.

I have posted before that I have been very lucky to see loads of bands live - I have been going to concerts since the early 70s.

I think Led Zep will reunite and do a small tour next year - if I get tickets I will let you know :)

Yeah John Entwhistle was a class act.

Always thought Peter Hook took a lot of inspiration from him.

It defo was mad mate, Diana Ross at a private party ffs! Had to pinch myself that it was actually happening tbh.

We had a suite at the Plaza, flew by charter, Broadway show, top restaurants, the full ****ing beans. Didn’t pay for a thing. We got treated like proper royalty that week, utterly bonkers tbh. It was probably the moment I realised I’d done alright for myself tbf like <laugh>

I was at the second of those two shows. Among the highlights of the day were Chas and Dave, and Commander Cody and his Lost Planet Airmen. And the last concert Led Zep played before John Bonham died. Seems like last week, was it really over 40 years ago?

Saw the Prodigy at Glastonbury in 1997, such an amazing energy live. Was one of the muddiest years I've ever seen it at Glasto.
****ing moshing around in a slurry pit. Happy days :)

Hard to beat Earth, Wind and Fire live in their pomp with Maurice (RIP) and Verdine pumping the bass. A ****ing musical extravaganza <ok>

I saw Neil Young and Crazy Horse a few year back at the Echo Arena. ****ing mind-blowing. He did Like a Hurricane as the last encore. Lasted 25 minutes and he shredded his guitar strings at the end. ****ing awesome <ok>

Muse are a great live band...this is when they played their home town of tiny Teignmouth in Devon (also my home town) probably the most exciting thing that has happened there since Norman Wisdom shot a film there in the 60s!...

Can someone post Whipping Post by the Allman Brothers Band live at Filmore East in 1969. Duane Allman was second only to Hendrix. A terrible loss to music at only 24 years of age. Check out the slide guitar on Layla as well <ok>

His brother Greg (vocals and Hammond) was married to Cher for about 5 minutes <laugh>

Imagine trying to waltz to that <yikes>
