Do you honestly believe that? Hoddle was sacked after his wacky religious beliefs about disabled people which he tried to say were taken out of context and he apologised for; this is on an entirely different level - taking bungs, admitting illegal practises, badmouthing the England staff, slagging off the FA, and all the other guff. It would just expose the whole system as rotten if someone who makes comments like this is allowed to continue, and bring the national team in complete disgrace....well even more disgrace anyway! Would be amazed if he continues after this.
One thing I can;t work out on this - why would Sam take his financial adviser and agent to a meeting about a dodgy deal? Why do you need an agent for a back-hander?
If he gets sacked as England manager then give Moyes the England job, could he come back here and finish the job ?
The mag thread is hilarious - they're trotting out the "Paedo supporters" line about us - and seemingly condoning Cisse getting a 13 year old pregnant!
I don't believe he will continue after understanding it to be honest, but it wouldn't surprise me. Anybody who thinks the FA are squeaky clean are naive to say the least, Allardyce is exactly the type of character to bring the house down on them.
Ouch - I think there might be a different kind of investigation starting very soon ... Besieged England boss Sam Allardyce has slammed the UK tax system and branded HMRC the “most corrupt business” in Britain. The latest details from the sting, released by the Telegraph claim that Allardyce told undercover reporters: “The most corrupt business in our country would be what? You’ll be shocked when I tell you this – HMRC. “They fly out tax demands without any real knowledge whether they should or shouldn’t. “They just put ‘em out willy-nilly and if you pay them, people s*** themselves and pay them. “Then they go to their accountant and say, and if you’ve got a s*** accountant, the account s**** himself and says, well you must owe them, you had better pay it.” http://www.teamtalk.com/news/big-sam-brands-hmrc-the-most-corrupt-business-in-britain
