Funnily enough, the coldest I ever remember being, while watching a football match, was against Birmingham City at St Marys in December 2002, when Saints won 2-0. I caught a couple of rather bad viruses going around and was severely under the weather for three months. I didn't really feel properly recovered for about 18 months.
I agree. While they are not pleasant to watch, after we beat them one nil at home, I said then that they were tough to beat and therefore will finish very high up. Now they are top, they will grind out results in Big Sam's fashion and go up. I do think we play far better football, but that game at St MAry's was by far our toughest game so far. They were just so big and strong. It was afabulous win.
