I think he might play Smallwood, which I would argue is probably wiser than starting Huddlestone. Thing is, on Saturday he shoe-horned in a lot of players who he admitted weren't fully fit. In the interview with Mike White he was complaining about Wilks having not trained for 6 weeks, Magennis not trained for 2 weeks etc. Okay, well, don't start them then if they're not fully fit. I'd much rather we started players who are fully-fit than players returning from injuries and not up to speed. Honeyman, Wilks, Magennis, Alfie Jones etc. can get minutes coming off the bench. Half-fit players who are gasping for air and jogging back after 20 minutes just puts us at a massive disadvantage.
Is there a bigger prick than Prutton? He’s from Hull yet predictably says we’ll lose most of the time in Prutton’s Predictions. What a tool.
Whatever happens tonight , people need to remember that they are former premier league champions , so it’s just a privilege that little old Hull City get to take to the field with them
I half expected Smallwood would come in against his old club and Tom H to be rested. Good to see Matt Smith start, it seems a sensible change.
that’s great value, but surely it would be greedy & unrealistic to hope for that many pivots in a game. Maybe we should lobby the FA so the game is measured in goals & pivots Blackburn 1 goal 2 pivots city 1 goal 8 pivot city win on the 606 pivot rule
