I've noticed that Wilks almost always prefers to receive the ball with his back to the opposition and tries to use he strength to shield the ball and turn. I just wonder if he'd get more luck by playing off the shoulder.

 

I think this is much more like it , sloppy at times but we are having a go at them , all we ask

 

They ain't doing bad at the minute tbh .. but we need more care with the final ball .. you can see at times its a bit hit and hope

 

Passing in the final third isn’t good enough though.

 

Yeah, the passing could be better but I'd much rather see us have a go than whatever we saw at Swansea.

 

I think he's agoraphobic as he seems to need to run in to a crowd when he gets the ball.

No it’s not, but I’ve been one of the most negative voices , simply cos sick of people accepting 1 shot at goal . We don’t have the championship quality in key areas which I accept , but I want us to just have a go . I actually applauded KLP putting his shot in row z early on cos at least he had a crack

 

In an ideal world a final third pass would be from a midfielder to our plethora of attacking players in the box. Normally it’s a winger trying to pass through a sea of defenders to one attacker in the box.

 

He's looking class with everything he does.

 

Going forward this is a vast improvement on Saturday

This is much better, a bit more confidence and quickness in the final third and we can get something here. I think Smith has improved as the half has gone on, some great touches.
