My Mrs has ****ed off on holiday with the kid and left me with two ****ing dogs to look after. She’s just FaceTimed me to tell me she forgot to iron my stuff for the week as well. Fantastic.

 

Can't you iron your own ****?

 

I’m a horrific ironer (ironist?). For the amount it costs it’s well worth having someone do it for you if you happen to also have a missus who is a terrible ironer.

 

I can't imagine Tel being one of those useless mummy's boys who can't work a washing machine or iron a shirt tbh. Infact when I served in the cadets you had to iron your own **** and do it well

 

Well yeah obviously I can but it’s usually not me who does it. Sundays are my chill days.

 

I’ve mastered the washing machine. Dishwasher is easy. Take the bins out fine. Even a modest vacuumer. Just the ****ing iron to go and I’ll be quite the modern man.

 

Tumble dryer, take clothes out, shake them, fold them, good to go. Apart from shirts they need an iron.

 

I don’t mind any domestic task, but I don’t and won’t iron.

Not that I can’t, just that I hate it, so I refuse to do it.

I’ve paid for some knacker to come round collect it and bring it back on hangers before today.

Dishwasher does that ****. Emptying and filling it is a tough gig though tbh, best left to a pro imo.

Easier to pay someone to do your worrying I reckon.
