I don't think this guy ever really got the recognition he deserved. I thought he was a smashing player with bags of skill. I can remember, I think, him running the show when Rangers had a good run in Europe in 1979 (correct me if I'm wrong). I'm sure PSV Eindhoven was one of the teams you met.

I'm also struggling to remember but did he then go to Motherwell?

    Classy player.

Do you know that I used to live on the same street as Fanny McGrain (the no 11 at Celtic) and Jim Baxter?

I used to stay next door to Budgie McGhie, Clydebank's manager.

I went to the same school as Sir Awex Fweguson - Broomloan Road Primary in Govan.

It's still there as it's a listed building.

I was in the same school football team as Colin Hendry. He was a bit of a big-heided ****, same with his wee brother Graeme.

Used to call him "Koj" as he was always sooking on a lollipop. Thought he was cool as ****. Wasn't happy when he signed for Rangers as apparently his auld man, Eddie started giving it big licks around town.
